Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Eleven Eleven website, mobile application, private beta, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Who may use Eleven Eleven

You must be at least 13 years old and at least the minimum digital-consent age required where you live. If you have not reached the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must review these Terms with you and permit your use. We may limit access to particular countries, devices, or invited testers while the product is in beta.

3. What the service does

Eleven Eleven is being built to let people communicate live with contacts they choose. Depending on your settings, incoming audio or notifications may arrive immediately, including while your device is locked. Use quiet mode, Do Not Disturb, mute, remove, and block controls whenever you do not want to receive communications.

Eleven Eleven is not an emergency service and must not be used to contact emergency responders. Mobile data, internet access, and carrier charges may apply.

4. Accounts and device permissions

If you create an account, provide accurate information, keep your device and credentials secure, and tell us promptly about unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account. You may not sell, transfer, automate, or impersonate an account.

Features may require access to your microphone, notifications, contacts, camera, or photo library. You choose whether to grant optional permissions and may change them in device settings. Some features may stop working when a required permission is disabled.

5. Acceptable use

Use Eleven Eleven with respect for other people, their attention, and their privacy. You may not use the Services to:

• break the law or encourage illegal activity;
• threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, deceive, or impersonate anyone;
• share hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise abusive material;
• violate privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights;
• spam people, scrape user information, or publish another person’s invite code without permission;
• introduce malware, bypass security, reverse engineer except where law permits, or interfere with the Services; or
• use Eleven Eleven in a way that creates a safety risk for another person.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of content you provide. You give Eleven Eleven a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the Services, respond to support or safety requests, and comply with law. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide the content.

This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for limited backups, security records, legal preservation, or other retention described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Safety and enforcement

Connect only with people you trust. You may mute, remove, block, and—when available—report users. We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, threaten safety, expose us or others to legal risk, or impair the Services. We may preserve or disclose information when legally required.

Because the product is being designed for live, ephemeral communication, we may be unable to review the content of a conversation. A safety report should include any information or evidence you choose to provide.

8. Eleven Eleven property

The Services, branding, software, and design belong to Eleven Eleven or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Services under these Terms. You may not copy or commercially exploit the Services except with written permission. If you send feedback, we may use it without restriction or compensation.

9. Third-party services

Mobile carriers, operating systems, app stores, identity providers, hosting providers, and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Eleven Eleven is not responsible for those services. Apple and Google are not responsible for Eleven Eleven except to the extent their own terms require.

10. Beta, changes, and availability

Eleven Eleven is currently a pre-launch product. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, be interrupted, or be removed. We do not promise that a beta feature will become generally available. We may update these Terms and will post a new date and provide additional notice for material changes where required.

You may stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion through the method offered in the app or by emailing us. We may suspend or end access for the safety and enforcement reasons above.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation, and we are not responsible for the conduct of users. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eleven Eleven will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, goodwill, or data arising from the Services. Any direct liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law and do not limit mandatory consumer protections or forums available where you live. Before beginning a formal dispute, please email us with a clear description of the issue so we can try to resolve it.
